DESIRE TO CULTIVATE & PROVIDE THE HIGHEST-QUALITY
ORGANIC PRODUCE, TO EDUCATE HER COMMUNITY ABOUT
THE LAND & THE IMPORTANCE OF THE FOOD WE EAT, & TO
BE ABLE TO WALK TO WORK EVERY MORNING WHILE RAISE
HER DAUGHTER WITH THE SAME LOVE FOR THE EARTH
HER PARENTS INSTILLED IN HER IS NOT ONLY HER PASSION,
BUT ALSO A TRUE GIFT.
WE ARE ALL BLOOMING WHERE WE HAVE BEEN PLANTED.
“A LOVE OF FARMING HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THROUGH
GENERATIONS OF MY FAMILY. MY FATHER WAS RAISED BY HIS
GRANDPARENTS ON A DAIRY FARM, & THOUGH THEY WERE
FORCED OUT BY THE ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS & EMINENT
DOMAIN, HIS LOVE OF THE LAND & ITS GIFTS ONLY DEEPENED.
HIS MOTTO FOR OUR FAMILY HAS ALWAYS BEEN “BLOOM
WHERE YOU WERE PLANTED.” LIKE MY FATHER, MY MOTHER
POSSESSES A DEEP REVERENCE FOR THE LAND, &, AFTER
TEN YEARS OF SEARCHING, THEY FOUND A PLACE WHERE
THEIR SHARED LOVE OF IT COULD TAKE ROOT, A PLACE
WHERE THEY CULTIVATED MY PASSION FOR IT, & A PLACE
WHERE I HOPE TO PASS THE SAME ON TO MY OWN DAUGHTER
— THE PLACE WE NAMED BLOOMSBURY FARM.”
