We’re Hiring for a Full-Time Harvest Lead!

Our harvest team at Bloomsbury consists of a variety of full-time and seasonal part-time employees. We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and driven individual to round out our ever growing team and work alongside our Vegetable Production Manger and Farm Manager.

What we need in a team member:

• At least 1 season of farm experience (not required but highly encouraged)
• A strong communicator (it’s the foundation of our team)
• An affinity for working outside
• Able to work independently and cohesively in groups
• Able to move quickly, efficiently, and stay on task
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Able to work long days in varying weather conditions
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to work at least 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Weeding, bed preparation, transplanting, and harvesting according to the crop plan
• Disease and pest management
• Managing irrigation around the farm
• Assist Farm Manager and Vegetable Production Manger in all crop planning, field prep, irrigation set up,
• Ensure proper record keeping of all seeding, transplanting, and harvest (necessary for organic certification).
